It came of An Idea Myself (Big Tommy) and my friend Rich Clewes that was doing online radio on different radio stations.

So I said what about us opening our own online station.

So I came up with the name “The Online Station”

As in we launched The Online Station in October 2014 And now we are into it's 7th year getting bigger & bigger.

With the 4 main members of the original Steering Group, All covering the cost of the PRS/PPL Licenses and streaming costs.

We came on air for the first time on Tuesday 7th October 2014 And also we launched "The Big Radio Network" in October 2019 .

With other stations like Johnstone Sound & Scence Radio being part of The Big Radio Network.
